Yoga by Lindsay Rae at GRC

Lindsay Rae, Registered Yoga Teacher, 200 hours  

Lindsay, a valued member of the GRC team as a Chiropractic Assistant, is excited to share her dedication to the practice of yoga with you! Lindsay has been practicing yoga for 7 years and teaching for 2 years. She believes that yoga enhances one's overall quality of life, and she has dedicated her life to the practice.

Lindsay studies the deepening of Yin yoga, the release of Restorative yoga, the technique of Vinyasa yoga, and the lifestyle of Ashtanga yoga.

      Class Schedule

       Thursdays 6:45 pm: Slow Flow

       Friday 6:45 pm:  Yin/Restorative

       Each class lasts 60 minutes.

       Beginners are welcome! Bring your own
       yoga mat - the yoga props will be provided.

Class Descriptions

A practice that takes place seated or reclined, yin yoga is a subtle, but active practice that targets deep into the connective tissue linking muscles to bones and joints. Poses are held for several minutes, allowing the body to release tension and increase flexibility. This is followed by a relaxing and restorative practice involving poses completely supported by blocks, blankets, bolsters and straps.

Slow Flow
Gentle movement through a series of postures that target specific regions of the body, Slow Flow promotes release, opening, strength and flexibility. Sequences will move through a series of gentle balances, bends, folds, and twists, while linking breath and movement together, in order to enhance circulation throughout the body.

6-Class Pass: $78

Walk-ins welcome (if space allows): $16 per class
